The Tender Song of Sadness

The collage I made for the cover of my debut novel, is made with contact sheet sized pictures my father took of the neighbourhood I grew up in, back in the 1980’s. Combining my father’s work and mine resonates with the story told in the novel and adds another layer of symbolism to the book.
